Bringing your own alcohol is one way to cut costs for your event. In all cases – based on years of experience and hundreds of weddings – we strongly recommend that you have a certified bartender serve your guests. In fact, most BYOB venues now require it.
 
Certified bartenders are trained to prevent underage drinking; limit that guest who has already had enough to drink; prevent attendees from driving impaired; and properly report any incidents that do arise for insurance and law enforcement purposes – which benefits you and your venue. The BIG DEAL team is bartending certified, should you need us.
 
This list includes venues that allow you to purchase and serve your own alcohol and venues that allow you to purchase your own alcohol and serve it through a licensed bartending company. Please inquire directly with venues for their specific alcohol service regulations.
 
Hot tip: Venues that commonly allow you to bring your own catering and alcohol are: parks, community centers, senior centers and rec centers. Some require an alcohol permit and/or insurance. ***
