Loveland Habitat for Humanity’s Builder’s Ball 2024 - A Night of Impact and Celebration

On Saturday, November 9, over 400 guests gathered at Ellis Ranch for the annual Loveland Habitat for Humanity Builder’s Ball, an evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support affordable housing in Northern Colorado. Planned and produced with the assistance of Big Deal Company, the event was hailed by attendees as the “Best Builder’s Ball yet!” 
Our team assisted with messaging, PR, social media, website, vendor management, staffing and event logistics.
Here is a recap of the evening’s success and highlights.

With a sold-out crowd, the Builder’s Ball brought the community together for a memorable evening filled with engagement, fun, and generosity! Highlights included:

• Silent and Live Auctions: Guests placed bids on 91 silent auction packages and 5 exclusive live auction items, contributing to the organization’s fundraising goals.
• “Buy to Build” Initiative: In a new twist, 22 guests directly “purchased” essential construction items such as toilets, windows, and doors, to be used in upcoming Habitat for Humanity homes.
• Compelling Program: The program featured a testimonial from a current Habitat participant who shared their life-changing experience with affordable homeownership and its impact on their life. Awards were also presented to dedicated volunteers and board members, celebrating their invaluable support.
• Line Dancing: The evening ended on a musical note with some guests taking to the dance floor for some boot-scootin' line dancing.

The event’s success was made possible through the tremendous support from various community members and organizations:

• Sponsors and Partners: Recognition was provided across the event space with banners, signage, and verbal acknowledgments. Over 26 event sponsors contributed, reinforcing their commitment to building affordable housing in Northern Colorado.
• Volunteer Involvement: Over 30 volunteers dedicated their time to ensuring the event ran smoothly, demonstrating the community’s strong commitment to Habitat’s mission.
• Vendor Partnerships: Thirteen vendors provided their services, creating a festive and memorable atmosphere.

The Builder’s Ball raised crucial funds to help Habitat for Humanity provide safe, affordable housing to families in Northern Colorado, where stable housing is increasingly out of reach.
