Sloshball Q & A
Q: What if I don't like beer?
A: Well, if you're going to be chugging margs- you'll get drunk before the rest of us! You can have ANY drink in your cup. It doesn't have to be beer. You must always have your cup in hand. Some players drink water, others bring their own gluten-free beer. Only keg beer is provided, so bring whatever you want with you. Q: What kind of beer do you provide? A: Since over 50% of the beer in your cup will be spilled on the ground, My Big Day provides light beer. (Either Coors Light or Bud Light). If your pallet is more refined and needs a finer beer, and you don't mind wasting most of it, feel free to bring your own. We will not be offended. ***In 2018 Prost is our beer sponsor! You'll be drinking craft beer! Q: Are there any public restrooms? A: Yes, Absolutely YES! Not a porta-potty.... actual restrooms. Q: Do we have to have our own team of 10+ put together? A: No. Forming your own team is optional. If you care about the type of players you have (competitive or simply there for fun) you may want to put together your own team of 10-15. If individuals register, we can add them to other teams no problem! Q: Will there be a shelter? A: Yes, We have rented a shelter. Q: What if I bleed easily? A: The field we're playing on is all grass. The ball is made of rubber. The cups are made of plastic. Please provide your own first aid kit. Q: What if I have kids? A: It would be a good idea to get a babysitter. You probably won't want them to witness this event. Also... you may want to get the sitter to stay extra late! Q: What if I don't want to play? A: Feel free to come as a spectator. All are welcome to watch. Those who pay get to drink, play and grill with us! Q: Is this sport really just an excuse to get drunk? A: No. Sloshball can be competitive and fun all at the same time. Although drinking is involved, we encourage only responsible drinkers to play. Please review My Big Day's CODE OF CONDUCT before you sign up to play. |
