BIG DEAL Company's NoCo Easter Keg Hunt is an annual event that keeps adults young! A wild and crazy scavenger hunt takes place in downtown Loveland and Old Town, Fort Collins Colorado. It is the perfect marriage between a road rally and a bar crawl! Costumes, team color coordination, and 'Rabbit-Wear' is encouraged! A kick-off takes place at a local watering hole. Teams of up to 9 are gathered. Each team receives a bag filled with 'tools' for their hunt! Once we say the word "GO," all teams open their first Easter Egg and privately read their first clue. Each clue will lead teams to businesses around town where they will hunt for their eggs and solve clue after clue. The Easter Keg Hunt is by foot, and sure to be your favorite new way to celebrate Easter! The cost to participate is just $40 per person. The winning team receives a large keg trophy, and every team receives drinks and goodies along the way! The Hunt takes about 2-4 hours. As time went by, she would help plan tons of life events in her community. In 2014 Kathy became a Community Starter for Blood:Water Mission holding fundraising events to bring awareness to the water and HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa. During this time, she has also planned other fundraisers for mission trips for various organizations. Since joining BIG DEAL, she has helped to create signature events, coordinate non-profit fundraisers and individualized corporate events, assisted with event marketing and client marketing campaigns, as well as help bring to life the vision for many couples on their wedding day. She has always had a heart for bringing joy to the people around her and helping to make a difference in her community. She was born and raised in Colorado and went on to receive her film degree in Vancouver, Canada followed by her undergraduate in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University. She worked as a commercial producer for Comcast Spotlight for nearly eleven years before opening a food and spirit specialty shop with her husband in downtown Fort Collins. It was through the business that she fell in love with the connection a business can create with its community whether it’s in person or online. Other notable accomplishments include a master's degree in Library Education and undergraduate studies in media studies and English. Lesli has had the fortune of growing up in a family and community that embraces creativity, love, and the common desire to constantly learn new things. Storytelling and memory making guaranteed. While there are bars and restaurants along the route, and drinking is allowed, we require that participants respect all businesses they enter, and read the CODE OF CONDUCT before participating. The Easter Keg Hunt is by foot, and will take place rain, shine or snow. Wear comfortable footwear. Rules will be announced at 1:00pm.
