You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, create derivative works, or in any other way exploit any part of our materials without the prior written permission from My Big Day LLC Every February, something quietly magical happens in Loveland, Colorado. Couples gather not for spectacle or stress, but for connection - for a ceremony that feels intentional, romantic, and deeply personal. The Loveland Valentine’s Day Wedding & Vow Renewal Ceremony is designed for couples who want a meaningful moment without the overwhelm (or price tag) of a traditional wedding. This is not a courthouse transaction - and it’s not a cookie-cutter event either. It’s a shared celebration of love, commitment, and choosing each other, surrounded by other couples doing the same. A Romantic (and Refreshingly Affordable) Way to Get Married Let’s be real: weddings can be expensive, complicated, and exhausting. This ceremony offers an alternative that still feels romantic and special. Couples receive a thoughtfully crafted group ceremony, live music, keepsake photos, and memorable touches unique to Loveland - the Sweetheart City. Beautiful Way to Renew Your Vows This event has also become a favorite for couples celebrating milestone anniversaries. Renewing vows in Loveland is less about recreating a wedding day and more about honoring the journey you’ve shared together. Many couples return to say “I still do” after 10, 20, and even 40+ years together. It’s a reminder that love grows, evolves, and deserves to be celebrated again and again. Meet the Team That Makes the Magic Behind the scenes is a small, dedicated team that’s been part of this tradition from the beginning: Todd Harding, former radio personality and beloved community voice, has served as the officiant since the very first ceremony. His delivery is warm, thoughtful, and grounded - never rushed, never generic. Branden Sipes brings the soundtrack. His live music sets a romantic, relaxed tone and has become a defining part of the experience year after year. And new this year: The Pulliam Community Building. Recently renovated, this space is bright, elegant, and welcoming—an ideal backdrop for an intimate ceremony that still feels like an occasion. Behind it all is Big Deal Company, the Northern Colorado-based marketing and events team that produces the Valentine’s Day Wedding & Vow Renewal Ceremony each year. Known for creating experiences that feel personal, polished, and community-centered, Big Deal brings together local talent, thoughtful details, and seamless planning to ensure couples can simply show up and enjoy the moment. Their goal is simple: make love the focus, not logistics. Why Couples Choose Loveland Loveland isn’t just the setting—it’s part of the story. Known nationally for its Valentine traditions, LOVE sculptures, and messages sent around the world each February, the city has earned its nickname as America’s Sweetheart City. Getting married or renewing vows here means stepping into that tradition and making part of your own history. A Community That Celebrates Love This year’s celebration wouldn’t be possible without the support of partners who believe in Loveland’s legacy as America’s Sweetheart City. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce and Visit Loveland - the tourism arm of the city, proudly support the Valentine’s Day Wedding & Vow Renewal Ceremony as part of their ongoing commitment to strengthening community, supporting local experiences, and welcoming couples from near and far to fall in love with Loveland—again and again. Love, Generosity, and Local Magic One of the most joyful parts of the Valentine’s Day Wedding & Vow Renewal Ceremony is how generously our community shows up for couples. Every registered couple receives a thoughtfully curated gift bag filled with local favorites, special offers, and meaningful surprises—plus a chance to win an incredible grand prize basket. We’re grateful to the following local businesses and organizations that help make this celebration extra special. (Each name below links to their website—go show them some love.)
Together, these partners turn a single ceremony into a full Valentine’s Day experience—one that couples remember long after the vows are spoken. Join Us This Valentine’s Day If you’re looking for a wedding that feels romantic but not overproduced—or a vow renewal that’s joyful, relaxed, and meaningful—this ceremony was created with you in mind. Tickets are limited, and each year the event fills with couples ready to celebrate love in a way that feels just right. Learn more and reserve your spot at www.ValentinesDayInLoveland.com Love doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it just needs the right moment—and the right place. Frequently Asked Questions Is this a real, legal wedding? Yes. The Valentine’s Day Group Wedding is a fully legal ceremony. Couples are responsible for obtaining their marriage license in advance, and our officiant will complete and sign the paperwork so it can be properly filed after the ceremony. Can we bring guests? Absolutely. Couples are welcome to invite a small group of family and friends to share in the moment. The ceremony is designed to feel intimate and celebratory—more like a gathering of loved ones than a large production. The focus will be on the couples, so guests will be asked to sit in viewing sections around the room as space provides. What if we’re renewing our vows? Vow renewals are a cherished part of this event. Many couples join us to celebrate milestone anniversaries or simply to pause and recommit. Renewing couples take part in the same ceremony, with language thoughtfully crafted to honor years already shared. What’s included with registration? Registration includes the ceremony, live music, keepsake photos, a commemorative lock to “lock your love” in Loveland, a curated gift bag from local partners, and entry into the grand prize giveaway—plus the experience of being married or renewed in America’s Sweetheart City. From bunny ears to tricky clues, local brews to photo-worthy moments, Northern Colorado once again showed up and showed out for a beloved spring-time tradition! A Tradition that Hops OnWhat began as a birthday celebration for Big Deal CEO, Christine, 17 years ago has since evolved into a can’t-miss annual event across Fort Collins and Loveland. Fittingly, this year’s Fort Collins hunt actually landed on Christine’s actual birthday - a full-circle moment that made the day even more special. The Easter Keg Hunt blends a fun downtown scavenger hunt with an elevated bar crawl, creating a unique way to connect with local businesses and the community. It’s free for the businesses to participate (not a bad way to have increased foot traffic for a day!). This year, both cities brought the energy, creativity, and spirit that make this event so fun! Fort Collins Hunt Highlights - April 12 The Fort Collins leg kicked off on our favorite downtown patio at Avogadro’s Number. Teams received their first clue here and quickly darted off to their first stop. They worked to unravel creative and tricky clues throughout the afternoon. One multi-step puzzle led teams to a notorious local statue before directing them to Hydrate IV Bar - a clever twist that kept egg seekers on their toes! 14 enthusiastic teams zigzagged through 13 fantastic local spots, including Brother’s Bar, Burn Candle Bar, The Emporium at The Elizabeth Hotel, and more. Stops like Sugar Salt Sand and Salt Road Brewery brought vibrant energy, while The Hot Sauce Realm brought the heat - literally! Teams ran through downtown in colorful costumes, themed outfits, and full-on fun! After hours of clue solving, photo snapping, and bar hopping, the final destination was revealed: Pour Brothers. The cheers, clinks, and storytelling that followed cemented this year’s Fort Collins hunt as one for the books! But by Saturday, the clouds parted and the sun shone bright - just in time for nine excited teams to take it to the streets! Starting at Backyard Tap, this year’s route wound through 14 downtown businesses, including B Sweet Cupcakes, SliceNRoll Pizza, The Flipside, and Wicked Tequila Room. From bar lounges to floral shops and interactive games at the Vella Terra stop, every location added its own flavor to the experience The hunt wrapped up at 477 Distillery, where teams cheered each other and the craft cocktails flowed! Loveland delivered a perfectly blended mix of community and high-spirited fun, outshining the snowy start! What started as a playful birthday idea has grown into a beloved tradition that connects people, celebrates local businesses, and encourages a little friendly competition (and a lot of laughs!). With new clues, new businesses, and new memories each year, this event continues to be a favorite! (Flashback photo below from 2016) Thank You & See You Next Year!A huge shoutout to every team that participated, every business that hosted, and every individual who helped make this year’s Easter Keg Hunt unforgettable! Whether it was your first time or your fifteenth, we’re already counting down the days to next year’s event. FAQs WHAT IS THE EASTER KEG HUNT? A clue-based scavenger hunt through local businesses, combining puzzles, bar hopping, and fun! HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE NEXT YEAR? Follow the Easter Keg Hunt on social media and sign up for the Big Deal Newsletter for announcements and event dates. ARE COSTUMES ENCOURAGED? Absolutely! The more festive, the better! Bunny ears, team themes, and wild outfits are all part of the fun. HOW CAN BUSINESSES GET INVOLVED? Local businesses interested in participating can reach out to get on the route. We typically send out “feelers” in January via email, direct mail, and phone calls - ANSWER THE CALL to be on next year’s route! We guarantee increased foot traffic to your location during this event, and many players come back after the event.
