Build a Backpack Challenge - Team Building and Fundraiser for employees of DBC Irrigation, Colorado. Location: Broomfield, CO Hundreds of employees participated in a multi-part, interactive experience for a good cause!  Montgomery Gentry Concert - A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and Open House Event. Over 400 guests gathered to celebrate and donate! Over 100K raised. Location: Windsor, CO  Women's Conference/ Mountain Retreat - Over 50 Women from across the US gathered for a motivational conference in Breckenridge, CO. The experience included a photo shoot, activities, team building and a schedule filled with thoughtful ways to connect.  Leann Rimes Concert - An incredible evening with top talent and thoughtful touches. We were responsible for all event elements to make the evening unforgettable. Location: Greeley, CO  Denver Museum Team Building Luncheon - We had the honor of putting together a fun day filled with trivia and games to celebrate community and team connectedness in Denver. Location: Downtown Denver  Travel Team Building and Company Retreat - A jam-packed experience and fun getaway for the entire Slate360 sales team in Santa Barbara, CA. That was certainly the case at Dementia Together’s Joy on the Journey fundraising event that BIG DEAL had the pleasure of planning. The numbers from this event are proof of its success:
Dementia Together has been doing incredible work in Northern Colorado - offering support and resources for care partners, families and people living with dementia. Their Joy on the Journey event was about bringing people in our community together to create a connection and to help people gain an understanding about how Dementia Together supports their clients and works with community partners. The event space was full of energy. Bright, white tables and coverings provided by Primary Event Rentals were adorned with picture cubes of the clients and families that benefit from Dementia Together’s services filled the space. Guests were treated to delicious food provided by Fresh Plate Catering, while being serenaded by the talented duo from Mountain City Music. Throughout the evening, guests heard from Dementia Together’s Executive Director and other supporters. They heard stories that were both heart-warming and inspiring, and it was clear that the work being done by this amazing organization is truly making a difference in people’s lives. BIG DEAL Company was honored to be a planning partner for such an important and spectacular event! From concept to execution, this event took over 300 planning hours to pull off. Community is an important pillar in all of the work that My Big Day does, and this event was a perfect example of how community and coming together for a common cause can be inspiring and produce good for many!
